EDR, Antivirus & SOC Monitoring

More visibility when something suspicious happens on a computer.

In plain English

How this helps your business

Antivirus helps identify and block malicious software. Endpoint detection and response (EDR) looks for suspicious device behavior. A security operations center (SOC) adds analyst review of supported alerts. These layers have different roles and can work together.

Who is this for?

Businesses that want stronger device protection and clearer alert handling than basic antivirus alone provides.

Why it matters

Suspicious activity is not always a recognizable virus file. A compromised account or unusual program behavior may need investigation. Detection tools provide signals; the response process determines who acts on them.

A clear process

How we get started

  1. 1

    Assess current protection

We review supported devices and existing security software.

  2. 2

    Select the layers

We explain antivirus, EDR and SOC coverage and the limitations of each.

  3. 3

    Roll out carefully

We configure tools and coordinate any necessary software changes.

  4. 4

    Set the response process

We agree contacts, monitoring coverage and authority to isolate affected devices.

What affects the price?

Protected device count, selected security tools, monitoring coverage and response scope affect cost. Incident cleanup or recovery outside the agreement can require separate work.

Questions before you decide

Does a SOC mean you answer support calls 24/7?

No. Analyst monitoring and your IT support availability are different services. Your agreement defines each.

Can a device be disconnected during an investigation?

Some tools can isolate a device to limit spread. We define authorization and business contacts as part of the response process.

Will this prevent every attack?

No. It is part of a broader approach that includes account controls, updates, staff awareness and backups.
